Everyone is welcome to use our communal facilities. Please be respectful and mindful of others. Park property is available for everyone to use. You must not remove any items from their area. Please take care when using equipment and be sure to clean up after yourself. If you find any issues with equipment or our facilities, please advise reception.
Reception
Open Hours: 9am – 5pm 7 days – Hours may be extended during busy summer periods
At our reception you will find a selection of drinks, ice-cream, snack foods and other items available for purchase. Please call in and see our reception staff if you have any enquiries.
Other services available at our reception are:
- Laundry Service – Please see reception for costs
- Hire Items – We have a small range of items to hire including fishing rods, boogie boards, pedal carts, power cords, hiking poles. We hope to expand our range of hire items and equipment in future.
- Printing & Laminating
Laundry Room
There are coin operated washing machines and dryers available for use in our communal laundry room (next to the communal kitchen). You will also find an iron and ironing board here. You are able to purchase washing powder from our reception at $1 per scoop.
Whānau / TV Room
Our TV room is always open. There is a big screen TV for your enjoyment.
Toilets & Showers
Please be considerate of water usage. To operate the showers press the green button opposite your shower stall to enjoy approx. 7 minutes of hot water. Please keep these areas clean and tidy.
**DO NOT DISPOSE OF BABY WIPES IN ANY TOILET OR DUMP STATION. These are problematic in our septic systems which is costly to remedy.
Kitchen
Our spacious kitchen is equipped with appliances and utensils. Please respect the facilities and keep it clean. Children must be supervised at all times while using the kitchen. Fish bait is not allowed in the communal fridges & freezers.
Playground
Children must have adequate supervision at all times while in the playground area. Children under the age of 5yrs must have a parent/caregivers’ supervision at all times. The Port Waikato Holiday Park is not responsible for any injuries or accidents. Dogs are not permitted in or around the childrens playground area. No smoking in this area.
Help us to minimise land fill waste and take care of our environment by using the correct bins provided. You will find rubbish and recycling stations located around different areas of our park. Be a tidy Kiwi! These bins are restricted to normal household rubbish only.
