Beautiful spot. Great camping ground. Very clean amenities and cabin. Very friendly receptionist. Beautiful gardens nearby. Great sand dunes. Very quiet at this time of the year- November.

We stayed here as we were attending a tangi at a local Marae. The staff at Port Waikato Holiday Park were outstanding. They understood we were going through a difficult time and made sure we were comfortable and that our stay was stress free. We would love to return during happier times and take advantage of the beautiful scenery and hospitality. Nga mihi nui.

My recent stay at Port Waikato camping ground was a excellent stay amazing staff clean factilities tidy grounds would cmme back to the wonderful place anytrime an affordable weekend away for family

We’ll be back. lovely hosts, clean facilities [and paper towels!] Not a lot to do, but great to catch up with friends for a few days. Delicious burgers at the café.

This place was quite beautiful, and peaceful, a lovely setting, the drive there was quite out of the way , the road was quite scary at night time!!!! The only thing was the cabin was quiet small, the bed was a bit hard, and it was very far out of the way from pukekohoe

The sand dunes were so good for our kids.

We stayed here as a group of 8 plus two dogs. Such a well equipped and tidy camp ground. Hot showers, awesome TV room to watch the game, beach access and an awesome kitchen / bbq area. Pretty quiet for labour weekend. The best thing is they allow dogs on leash. Will definitely be returning!

My husband and I really enjoyed our night at the Port Waikato holiday park in our camper van. The facilities were clean, tidy and well catered for.. the staff were all helpful and made us feel welcome. We will definitely come again.
