Cabin Accommodation
The Port Waikato Holiday Park has accommodation types to suit all tastes and budgets. From tent sites to cabins, powered sites to motel units there is something here for everyone.
The three hectares of park-like grounds are quiet and ideally suited for families. There is a playground with a jumping pillow, trikes for hire and tons of space to romp and explore.
There are full facilities on site including fully equipped kitchens, laundry, hot showers, BBQ areas, a playground, a TV(Freeview) Dining Lounge Room and a dump station - just to name a few.
Only five minutes walk to the sand dunes and just a one minute drive to Sunset Beach, Port Waikato Holiday Park is perfectly poised for you to get the most out of what this tranquil holiday destination has to offer.
Standard Cabin
We have 3 standard cabins with double beds in each cabin accommodating up to 2 people. They include a small fridge and cupboard with utensils.
We also have 2 other standard cabins one with a set of 2 x bunks inside which sleeps 4 and one with a set of bunks and a single bed which sleeps 3. They also include a small fridge with utensils as well.
You will have to bring your own blankets. We supply fitted sheets and pillows with pillow cases but you will have to bring your own top sheet and duvet.
Larger Cabin
The larger Cabin is a great option for the family on a budget.
Sleeping up to five the Cabin has a double/single bunk bed set plus a separate set of single bunks as well.
There is a table and chairs to seat the family around and a sofa to blob out on.
You have a medium sized fridge to keep your food and drinks cool.
Beds are supplied with fitted sheets, pillows and pillow cases. You will need to provide your own top sheets, duvets or blankets, and towels.
Alternatively you can hire linen from us for a nominal $10 per bed per visit.
Superior Cabin
Our comfortable Superior Cabins are larger than our standard cabins and have a double bed plus a set of wooden bunk beds or single bed.
They are pleasantly decorated and include a small fridge.
You also have your own private balcony from which to watch the summer sun set over the horizon. You have a small coffee table and chairs outside on the deck.
Beds are supplied with fitted sheets, pillows and pillow cases. You will need to provide your own top sheets, duvets or blankets and towels.
En-suite cabin
our new en suite cabins are our new additions to the park all equipped with everything you need including linen. They have a small en-suite and a small kitchenette inside we have 4 cabins that sleep 2 in each 3 of them have queen beds and 1 has a king single and a single bed inside. (These are our only cabins that we provide the blankets for)
