Cooking Facilities

We have a fully equipped and spacious kitchen for you to use including fridges, freezers and microwave ovens.

Stop eating from that pot lid!
Our kitchens also have an assortment of plates, cups and cutlery for you to freely use.

BBQ

For some alfresco cooking there is a brand new BBQ area with a free electric BBQ and picnic table set in a picturesque landscaped rock garden. So don your apron, arm your self with BBQ tools and celebrate in true kiwi summer style anytime of the year.

Another free BBQ area has been supplied close to the tenting area there are 3 large BBQ tables situated under trees for your enjoyment.

Shower Blocks

There are clean and tidy his and hers toilet and shower blocks with piped music to hum along to while you do what you do. The hot hot showers are coin operated, but the music to sing along to is free.

Laundry

We have laundry facilities for you to use at your convenience. There are both coin operated washers and dryers available so you can get your clothes clean and dry, rain or shine.

Linen Hire

Need extra bedding? No problem. We can provide you with fresh linen and warm duvets for $5 per person per stay.

Gone Fishing

From the boat or the beach Port Waikato is a great spot throw in your line and catch your supper. Then when you return with your bounty of the ocean we have a dedicated fish cleaning area for you to prepare your fresh catch and keep those fishy odours at bay.

We also have room for boat and tractor parking.

Playground

Our playground has all the usual swings and slides required to burn off all that youthful excess energy (no not yours, your kids!). It also features a camp ground favourite - the huge jumping pillow. 

Kayak Hire
 
Feel like going for a paddle? Ask us about our kayaks for hire. Loads of family fun and a great way to explore the calm waters down at the estuary.

$10 per hr for a single and $15 for a double.

Trike Hire

Kids love these low rider trikes, and on occasion, some bigger kids do too. Grab a couple and race each other around our spacious camp grounds. Loads of fun and a great thigh work out too.

SKY TV-Dining-Lounge Room

Enjoy a movie or sports or just relax with the other campers.

There is Sky TV, couches to blob out on and dining tables. The spacious deck out front is a great place to congregate.

Internet and Wireless Access

Should you need to make contact with the civilised world, we have an internet room available for you to use. You are in a Site WIFI Wireless Hotspot Zone.
